Your Holidays in Arcachon

Discover the charm and flavours of the Atlantic coast on a full-day trip to Arcachon — a destination that blends natural wonders, authentic gastronomy, and Belle Époque elegance.

For an even richer experience, your day can begin with a morning visit to the Château de La Brède — the ancestral home of philosopher and writer Charles de Montesquieu, one of the great minds of the French Enlightenment — or with a tour of a prestigious winery in the Pessac-Léognan appellation, including tastings and a guided visit of the cellars. After this cultural or wine experience, we continue towards Arcachon.

Our journey there starts in the picturesque ports of Arcachon with a visit to a traditional oyster farm, where you can enjoy freshly opened oysters and other seafood right on site, just steps from the water. We then head to the breathtaking Dune du Pilat — the tallest sand dune in Europe — before strolling through Ville d’Hiver, Arcachon’s historic “Winter Town”, where you will discover elegant 19th-century villas and encounter some of the earliest architectural works of the great engineer Gustave Eiffel.
For those who wish, we can take a private boat ride across Arcachon Bay. Our vessel is a handcrafted wooden boat, built entirely by hand at the only artisanal shipyard in Arcachon. We’ll anchor on a sandy island facing the dune, where you can enjoy a seafood lunch on board, surrounded by stunning views.

Alternatively, instead of the boat, we can stop for lunch or a cocktail at the iconic La Corniche restaurant, with its panoramic terrace overlooking the dune and the bay.

Whether on land or water, this day promises vivid impressions, unforgettable emotions, and spectacular scenery — a perfect blend of coastal beauty, fine wine, and French art de vivre.
